Our Programs for Kids
St. James’ offers inclusive experiences for children and families. We view children as a vibrant and essential part of our community, and we provide experiences for them to learn with their peers, as well as participate in our services. No matter your family composition, you are welcome here.
Acoltyes
Children participate in leading our worship services through our acolyte program. Depending on age, they may carry the cross, light candles, or be an altar server.
Special Activities
Throughout the year, we have special activities for children, whether at the church or in the community. We believe children are an essential part of our community, and we encourage them to live their faith in action.
Sunday School
St. James’ offers Sunday School for children.
3rd grade and older Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m.
2nd grade and younger is during the 10:30 a.m. worship service
