First and foremost , St. James' is a community of people who gather to worship God. We cherish the Episcopal tradition. We provide opportuntnities for members to discover and utilize their gifts for the building up of God's Kingdom, all the while gratefully acknowledging God as the source of all we have. With Christ as our foundation and through the guidance of the Spirit we seek growth and renewal as people of faith and as a Christian community as we worship, are formed in faith, and join in God's mission of reconciling love, serving both those in this place and those in the world outside our walls.
Worship at St. James' is quiet and meditive as well as celebratory and joyful. It is also participatory, so we invite you to join us. We have found that liturgical worship savery is a very rich form of worship, and one that the Church has used from the time of the Apostles until now. It requires some getting used-to but like all things that are truly important in our lives, it is worthy of time and effort.
